Improved Internet Speed with TransACT VDSL2

Capital Hill Apartments are within the area served by TransACT’s new VDSL2 service.  VDSL2 is capable of improved data transmission speeds compared to the earlier VDSL fibre-to the-node service.  Recently, TransACT provided a couple of residents with a new VDSL modem and new set top box. The technician sent by TransACT took about 30 minutes to make the upgrade. After connecting to VDSL2, the download speed is 18 megabits per second (mbps) and upload 4 mbps, but these might vary a little from apartment to apartment.  Download and upload speeds can be checked by going to a speed test website such as http://speedtest.transact.net.au/
