Unsolicited Visitors.
October 9, 2015
There is an expectation that the door intercom system forms a barrier for unwelcome visitors. In this connection, the Executive Committee received a complaint about Jehovah’s Witnesses knocking on the door of one apartment. From observations by others, it appeared that these visitors were probably admitted by another resident or gained access through the entrance door being left off the latch. The difficulty is that people such as hawkers and people who wish to canvass a particular religious or political point of view may be welcome to some but not to others. All residents are reminded of the need to abide by Rule 5.1(c) which requires residents to ‘take reasonable care about who you invite into Capital Hill Apartments’
