Balcony Strip Lighting

Some residents will have noticed that the LED strips have becomed warped through heat, particularly from the afternoon sun, as in the photo below.

This particular model is no longer manufactured but a superior alternative has been sourced from Illuminating Solutions Pty Ltd, Unit 3/160 Lysaght Street, Mitchell ACT 2911. Phone: (02) 62411 388.
The item is an SL409140-W Custom 436MM module, 3K, 5W, Opal diff, 24V DC, complete with 24V DC, 20VA transformer, non IP.  Critically, the screw holes are 420 mm apart, which would mean being able to re-use the same holes in your walls. The lights are $196.50 each + GST.  Installation by our electrician, Wayne Taylor (0418 633 756), would cost a similar amount.
